A public panel discussion bringing together MacArthur Fellows Sterlin Harjo (2024), Sky Hopinka (2022), and Dyani White Hawk (2023), moderated by Danyelle Means. This talk is part of Indian Theater: Native Performance, Art, and Self-Determination since 1969 an exhibition which explores Narrative Sovereignty and the ways in which community relationships guide artistic practice across visual art, film, and video. By convening artists across disciplines, the conversation creates a space to explore the methods, rhythms, and strategies of Indigenous storytelling, revealing the threads that connect film, television, and visual art beyond the confines of any single medium.
