A research hub developed by the Population Council will generate, synthesize, and translate evidence on what works to improve the lives of adolescent girls around the world. The Girl Innovation, Research, and Learning (GIRL) Center will engage leading experts to identify and promote evidence-based approaches for addressing key issues affecting girls, including: education, sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, sexual and gender-based violence, child marriage, migration, and climate change. The platform is intended to direct strategic investment into solutions proven to transform the lives of girls.
