juvenile court

A guide released by the Children and Family Justice Center at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, a recipient of the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions, describes the significant impacts of having a juvenile court record on youths’ employment, housing, and education prospects. The guide was created to help attorneys, judges, and other professionals in the juvenile justice system better understand the short- and long-term repercussions of being found guilty in juvenile court.
