Survey Offers Washington Influencers' Views on the National Debt

Policy and opinion leaders in Washington, D.C., are concerned about the national debt but fear that politics will get in the way of finding solutions, according to a new survey by Public Agenda. The survey was supported by MacArthur, which is committed to informing the American public and policymakers of the fiscal realities facing the country.
