Reducing Maternal Mortality in India

A study by MacArthur Fellow and grantee Sue J. Goldie, of the Harvard School of Public Health, published in the journal PLoS Medicine finds that better family planning, improved emergency obstetrical care, and support for safe abortion could significantly reduce maternal mortality in India in less than a decade.
