Partnership Supports Juvenile Justice Reform in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania has seen lasting improvements in indigent youth defense, youth screening and assessment tools, improved aftercare services, and training for practitioners in the field of juvenile justice, in part, as a result of an effective partnership between the state’s Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Committee and MacArthur’s Models for Change juvenile justice reform initiative.  Pennsylvania was one of the original core states for the initiative. A report published by the Foundation-supported Juvenile Law Center profiles the partnership.
