Maternal Health and Coronavirus
April 23, 2020 | Grantee Publications | Population & Reproductive Health

CASA, an adolescent and maternal health organization in Mexico, shares a report providing information about how the coronavirus pandemic affects maternal health. Pregnant women have a higher risk from contracting COVID-19, and the report encourages them to take extra precautions especially in the third trimester. MacArthur grantee CASA includes answers to questions like what pregnant women can do if they get sick, how it might impact their pregnancies, and how they can reduce their risk.
