The Connecting on Climate guide includes 10 principles for effective climate change communication based on research from a range of social science fields including psychology, anthropology, communications, and behavioral economics. One principle, for example, recommends emphasizing climate solutions and the benefits for average Americans. Released by MacArthur grantee ecoAmerica and the Columbia University’s Center for Research on Environmental Decisions, the guide includes new research on values, world views, identities, and climate solutions.
