Supporting Innovation in Reducing Youth Violence

The University of Chicago Crime Lab, a recipient of the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions, and Get In Chicago announced a design competition to support programs aimed at reducing youth violence in Chicago. The MacArthur-supported competition, which will provide funding of up to $1 million, will include rigorous evaluation of selected programs in an effort to generate evidence regarding how to improve the lives of youth at elevated risk for violence.
