A study by marine scientists from the Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies at James Cook University, Australia and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), a MacArthur grantee, finds that modifying the size of certain fishing nets can result in bigger fish and more money for fishermen by minimizing the harvest of juvenile fish.
