Fourteen schools across the United States have won LRNG Innovation Challenge grants from the National Writing Project to spur innovation in the classroom. The LRNG Innovation Challenge, supported by MacArthur and John Legend’s Show Me Campaign, is a new grant competition that encourages teachers to develop, pilot and share promising strategies and solutions to strengthen connected learning for the widest range of young people. The winning proposals will focus on projects requiring students to produce things, tinker, experiment, perform, and create digital content.
