Research Shows Promising Results for Use of Anti-Shock Garment in Childbirth

The University of California at San Francisco issued a press release about recent MacArthur-supported research findings that indicate the use of an anti-shock garment may helpful in preventing obstetrical hemorrhaging due to childbirth, a major cause of maternal death in many Third World countries.
