The LRNG Innovation Challenge, a grant competition led by the National Writing Project’s Educator Innovator, Musician John Legend’s Show Me Campaign, and MacArthur, aims to invest in teachers who find creative ways to create time and space for deeper learning and projects that stimulate student innovation and learning. Knowing time and space within the school setting are precious commodities, the competition is looking for teacher-led ideas to foster learning opportunities connected to students’ interests that can be supported by grants to pilot and test the projects.
