California Improves Criminal Justice through Evidence

A video from the Pew-MacArthur Results First Initiative shows how California county officials, when grappling with the Public Safety Realignment Act, used evidence to invest in criminal justice programs that are most effective and cost-efficient. Partnering with Results First, the counties re-evaluated resource allocation within their local criminal justice systems with a renewed focus on ensuring that limited county resources were directed to programs that are proven to work.
