RetroFit Housing

The City of Chicago has launched the Residential Partnership to accelerate the number of retrofits being completed in single family and multifamily apartment buildings. The Partnership is the next installment of Mayor Emanuel's Retrofit Chicago initiative, which is a collaboration of nonprofit groups, utility companies, and city government programs. MacArthur-supported CNT Energy will be the primary provider of energy efficiency products and services for the multifamily sector through its Energy Savers program. Energy Savers anticipates retrofitting nearly 7,000 apartments in the coming year, nearly all of which are part of the City's affordable housing stock.
