Metropolitan Group

Metropolitan Group (MetGroup) is a strategic communications agency founded in 1989 to build a just and sustainable world by using communications to advance social purposes. MetGroup provides strategic communications support and counsel to key institutions in the midwifery field, and is working on a strategy that looks at how to best use and connect the advocacy and communications tools being developed by diverse actors across the country to promote midwifery. The award develops traditional and social media strategies targeting particular sectors to either encourage their support for the midwifery model of care, better understanding of professional midwifery, or interest in seeking midwifery services.
