The Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) will premiere a documentary film that addresses conservation and human rights issues related to the threat of fisheries in the Tonle Sap Lake, deforestation in the Northeastern province of Ratanakiri, and land-grabbing in Phnom Penh. The film will be shown in Phnom Penh followed by additional screenings in three provinces in the cities of Siem Riep, Banlung, and Koh Kong. The film highlights the importance of healthy ecosystems to Khmer society and underscores the vulnerability of the rural poor to their decline.
