EcoAgriculture Partners

EcoAgriculture Partners is a US-based non-profit organization, whose goal is to support the adoption of integrated agricultural landscape management approaches that increase synergies between food production, ecosystem conservation, and rural livelihoods. Eco-Agriculture will conduct a two-day planning meeting to demonstrate how agricultural and infrastructural investments in Mbeya region of Southern Tanzania can be spatially located and designed to optimize complementarities with conservation within the watershed of Lake Nyasa. The meeting will also identify and prioritize interventions that reduce tradeoffs and increase synergies between agricultural areas, conservation areas and other land and resource uses.
