The Border Chronicle

Homelands Research Group (DBA Homelands Productions) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity serving as an independent, nonprofit journalism cooperative that offers fiscal sponsorship and whose mission is to fund and produce journalism projects and documentaries. It serves as the fiscal sponsor for The Border Chronicle, a weekly newsletter that publishes original, on-the-ground reporting, analysis, and commentary with the goal of educating readers and challenging preconceived notions about the Borderlands. This grant supports sustaining and expanding The Border Chronicle’s reporting team, increasing its subscriber base, and enhancing community engagement efforts.
