This grant will support the Census Project in its work to lead the public education and policy advocacy effort in support of the American Community Survey, a federal data collection effort that may be eliminated or curtailed. Administered by the Census Bureau, the American Community Survey results are used to determine how $450 billion in federal spending is allocated for health care, education, housing, job training, veterans’ services, transportation and other public services.
