climate weather report

A report by the National Academies of Sciences confirms that in many cases individual floods, heat waves, and droughts can be quantifiably tied to climate change. MacArthur grantee Climate Central’s chief scientist describes the report as a groundbreaking consensus study that lays out a science-based system to determine the connection between extreme weather events and climate change. Climate Central recently launched World Weather Attribution, an international effort designed to sharpen and accelerate the scientific community’s ability to analyze and communicate these climate change effects.
