The 2016 report from Justice in Mexico’s Justiciabarometro initiative provides an analysis of the demographics and perspectives of Mexico’s justice system professionals, including judges, prosecutors, and defenders. The MacArthur-supported report finds the majority of system professionals are male, and nearly all of them believe the justice system needs the reforms currently underway throughout the country. The report, posted in Spanish, also reveals concern regarding authorities’ ability to operate above the law.
