The Child Cases — a joint investigative piece by MacArthur grantees NPR, ProPublica, and PBS FRONTLINE — identifies and analyzes more than 20 cases in which people were prosecuted for killing children based on medical evidence that was later found unreliable, and explores larger problems with prosecutions in child death cases based on questionable autopsies and testimony.
