Chicago house

A report on Chicago regional housing market conditions finds new foreclosure filing activity declined substantially in 2014 and fell to or below 2006 levels in most parts of the region. The MacArthur-supported report by the Institute of Housing Studies at DePaul University also finds that investor buyers continue to be major players in the single family property market and that mortgage lending activity remained weak in the region, actually hitting a post-recession low point in 2014.
