The update includes key diplomatic, economic, and technical developments and visualizations of their effects. CISAC, a MacArthur grantee, suggests the 2018 Singapore Summit lowered some tensions by opening avenues for communication and potential diplomatic solutions. Despite some setbacks, there are avenues for progress going into 2019, with pledges from the U.S. and North Korea to work toward normalization and denuclearization.
