SDG-goal-report-200

A report from the Urban Institute examines the relevance of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to cities in the United States and identifies data sources that local leaders can use to track progress toward the goals in their cities. The report authors assert that U.S. cities are well-positioned and are already doing much of the work needed to achieve the SDGs, including efforts to establish and strengthen access to adequate, safe, and affordable housing and basic services. The report includes recommendations for advancing the SDGs across cities, such as partnership between civil society organizations, researchers, and cities in establishing a shared monitoring and tracking system.
