A Storage Solution for the Back-End of the Nuclear Fuel Cycle

With civil nuclear energy expanding, the Global Nuclear Future initiative of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences reports on the importance of the back-end of the nuclear cycle and proposes a regional storage facility for used fuel. The proposal addresses implementation, capacity, lifetime, cost, and other concerns.  Researchers also cites expert commentary on the greatest challenges for emerging nuclear power in Asia.
