To lower risk of nuclear escalation and reinvigorate international arms control, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace has developed Five Near-Term policy proposals. The proposals are especially focused on reducing U.S.-Russia risk and engaging China and others. The Carnegie Endowment, a grantee, also calls for feedback from officials and experts to hone the proposals as it develops longer-term strategies.
