mexico migration sp report

A set of guidelines for officials who preside over cases that affect migrants and persons subject to international protection has been published by the Mexican Supreme Court, in the first collaboration between the Court and civil society groups to prepare a document that benefits migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. The guidelines, developed by MacArthur grantee Sin Fronteras and other civil society groups with the Supreme Court presidency, seek to aid judges and other judicial operators in understanding and using in their rulings national and international human rights standards applicable to the situations of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. The guidelines are available in Spanish only. For more information, contact Sin Fronteras.
