A series of essays, “Ideologies of Control”, examine and diagnose the challenges, myths, motivations, and impacts of technological influence and was produced by Tech Policy Press in collaboration with Data & Society, both grant recipients. Contributions from experts in the field, including from Data & Society, Distributed AI Research Institute, and others, focus on surveillance, hype and limitations of AI, exploitation of workers, and military spending among other issues.
