The documentary “Meltdown” explores the coast of Greenland and its receding glaciers and breaking icebergs due to climate change and warming oceans. Lynn Davis, who photographs the melting ice, and Tony Leiserowitz, climate scientist and Director of grantee Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, lead the documentary through the land and seascapes of the Greenland coast, making the losses caused by climate change tangible. Leiserowitz emphasizes that there is still time to mitigate climate change, but the situation demands beginning work to preserve these landscapes now. The film is available on most streaming services and on some cable networks.
