The Marshall Project is helping incarcerated people access news and media stories that matter to them with a new video series, “Inside Story.” This builds on grantee Marshall Project’s written publication for incarcerated people, News Inside, by providing video content that is more accessible for the three in five people in prison who cannot read. In the first episode, host Lawrence Bartley, who was incarcerated for 25 years, interviews experts and people who were directly harmed by the use of the term of “superpredator”.
