Mexico Crime diagram

An interactive cartographic online platform helps to recreate and visualize the September 2014 attacks in Mexico that led to the disappearance of 43 students. The platform, created by MacArthur grantees Centro Prodh and the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team in partnership with Forensic Architecture, uses interactive maps and 3D reconstruction informed by case files to illustrate the progression and geographic spread of the attacks and the levels of coordination and collusion between state agencies and organized crime groups. The platform provides a forensic tool for investigators to conduct research and analysis.
