affordable housing

Three leading community development financial institutions (CDFIs) are competing for $8.25 million in grants and low-cost, long-term loans. Winners of the NEXT Awards for Opportunity Finance plan to expand national access to affordable housing, healthcare, and nonprofit community facilities in distressed communities across the U.S. The finalists are Clearinghouse CDFI, Corporation for Supportive Housing, and Primary Care Development Corporation. Awardees will be chosen in August and celebrated at the Opportunity Finance Network Conference taking place in San Antonio, Texas in October. MacArthur has been a leading supporter of the opportunity finance field since the early 1980s, investing nearly $250 million in approximately 100 groups nationwide.
