Research papers, reports, and expert commentary on immigration are now available to journalists and other interested parties via a new website created by the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard. The website originated with a workshop designed to help reporters and editors who cover immigration better understand the complex economic, labor, and legal issues surrounding the topic. Resources posted to the site include instructions on accessing, analyzing, and visualizing immigration data sets, as well as videotaped talks from the conference, including presentations by economists, labor leaders, law enforcement officials, researchers, and academics.
