The Office of the Mayor of the City of Chicago issued a press release announcing the City plan to establish a citywide Chicago Community Land Trust to help keep housing in Chicago affordable to lower- and moderate-income households. MacArthur President Jonathan Fanton announced that the Foundation will provide a grant of $396,000 to cover start-up costs for the Trust.
