Rental Housing Report Reveals 200,000 Affordable Units Lost Each Year

Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies,  with support from MacArthur, issued a press release about its first Annual Report on the state of the nation's rental housing. Among its most important findings, the report reveals that the nation is losing approximately 200,000 rental housing units each year due to demolition, significantly reducing the number of affordable units for low- and moderate-income families in the U.S.
