Fourteen community-focused leaders received the inaugural Leaders for a New Chicago award from the Field Foundation. The award recognizes emerging and established leaders in their communities, professional fields, or interest areas who reflect the city as a whole and work to build a more equitable Chicago. The MacArthur-supported grants of $25,000 come with no strings attached and an additional award for the leaders’ affiliated organizations. Meet the awardees.
