Ghana Hosts Transitional Justice Workshop
October 18, 2019 | Grantee News | Human Rights

Ghana hosted the first regional workshop on implementing the African Union Transitional Justice Policy, which lays the groundwork for African-led transitional justice across the continent. The workshop convened government and civil society leaders from the region to learn about the Policy and share effective transitional justice strategies, with support from the Africa Transitional Justice Legacy Fund. The MacArthur-supported Fund will provide grants for community-based organizations, nongovernmental organizations, and survivor-led groups implementing transitional justice projects and initiatives in seven West African countries that have experienced humanitarian crises.
