Ten new fellows have been selected to take part in Firelight Media’s Documentary Lab, a mentorship program that develops emerging diverse filmmakers and their feature projects. The MacArthur-supported program provides filmmakers with one-on-one support, funding, professional development workshops, and networking opportunities. This year’s filmmakers are working on projects exploring such diverse topics as Vietnamese nail salons and Afghan and Iraqi interpreters who served with US forces.
