Management Leadership for Tomorrow announced the inaugural cohort of employers that will go through the Black Equity at Work certification, a first-of-its-kind guide to working toward Black equity in workplaces. The results-oriented approach includes clear actions and steps employers can take to make progress toward equity across five areas: Black representation at every staff level, compensation equity, an anti-racist work environment, racially just business practices, and racial justice contributions and investments. In the MacArthur-supported certification, participating employers will establish a three-year plan to meet targets in those five areas, and if achieved, the certification is renewable year-to-year
