As part of the Climate Funders Justice Pledge, MacArthur has committed to transparently and consistently sharing more demographic information about the organizations that benefit from our U.S. climate funding. The Donors of Color Network has organized the pledge to encourage climate funders to direct at least 30 percent of giving to support organizations whose leadership is mostly Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. The pledge calls for climate funders to take an equity lens to adequately address the disproportionately negative impacts climate change is having on communities of color across the country.
