A coalition of environmental groups came together to form the Equitable and Just Climate Platform. Indigenous people, people of color, and low-income communities already and will continue to face the most significant impacts of climate change. The coalition calls for climate solutions that prioritize addressing the unequal impact by collaborating with environmental justice leaders and national environmental groups. Platform co-authors and inaugural signatories include MacArthur grantees Sierra Club, EarthJustice, League of Conservation Voters, Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
