Catalytic capital from philanthropy and impact investors has the potential to mobilize critical financing for climate solutions. Phinney Silver and Balbach discussed the MacArthur-Packard collaboration on Terra Silva, an impact investing initiative designed to respond to the challenges of global climate change by making investments focused on the conservation, restoration, and sustainable management of tropical forests worldwide.
