The 2016 Olympics Fund for Chicago Neighborhoods, to which MacArthur is a contributor, announced today its first phase of grantmaking, awarding $415,000 to eight organizations in support of the city’s bid for hosting the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The grants are awarded to key organizations to collect and aggregate data that can be used to develop subsequent-phase grant strategies that will support business and workforce development, and strengthen Chicago’s neighborhoods.
