Study Examines Lessons of “Building Boom” for Cultural Facilities

A study by the Cultural Policy Center at the University of Chicago, a MacArthur grantee, assesses a major building boom of museums, performing arts centers and theaters in the United States from 1994 to 2008.  “Set in Stone” is the first scientifically prepared study of its kind to look at the lessons that can be gleaned from cultural expansion.  Read the press release.
