A new report by MacArthur grantee, the Justice Policy Institute, finds momentum building for a new wave of juvenile justice reform across the nation. It states that "significant new research on adolescent development and the demonstrated success of evidence-based practices have bouyed efforts to reestablish more rational and effective policies." The report provides an overview of reform efforts underway in four states that are the focus of MacArthur’s Models for Change initiative: Illinois, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Washington.
