Inaugural Puppet Theater Festival Planned For Chicago

Top contemporary puppetry acts and artists from around the world will gather in Chicago January 14-25 for the city’s first-ever International Puppet Theater Festival. The MacArthur-supported festival was founded to establish Chicago as a center for the advancement of the art of puppetry. It will feature nearly 50 different performances at several of the city's top cultural institutions and theaters.
