America’s first investigative public radio show and podcast, “Reveal,” will be produced by the Center for Investigative Reporting a recipient of the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions, and distributed by Public Radio Exchange, also a MacArthur Award recipient. The show will feature investigative stories with a focus on informing the public about the actions of governments, businesses, and communities out of public view. Pilot episodes report on overprescribing of opiates to veterans since 9/11 and examine abuse at California’s developmental centers.
