In this commentary, UN Special Representative for Migration and Development Peter Sutherland urges OECD countries to adapt policies more friendly to immigrants.  Sutherland notes a recent stall in migration to the U.S. and Europe and argues that shelving anti-immigrant rhetoric and embracing diversity is crucial for nations hoping to maintain their workforces as large amounts of baby boomers retire in the coming years.
